PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY VEHICLE | Borough of Jim Thorpe PA

On 18 March 2018, the Jim Thorpe Police Department was dispatched to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the 300 Block of North Street, Borough of Jim Thorpe. Upon arrival Officers learned that James Fitzpatrick, 41 years old of Jim Thorpe was standing on a utility trailer when he was struck by the passenger side mirror of a vehicle traveling South on North Street. Fitzpatrick sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident. The vehicle described as an older model red/maroon single cab Chevrolet Pick-up truck did not stop after striking Fitzpatrick and fled the scene.
